Project LAUNCH NH is led by a State Management Team, State Young Child Wellness Council, Local Young Child Wellness Council, and Local Operations Leadership Team.

The State Management Team is comprised of the core positions required by SAMHSA.

The Young Child Wellness Coordinator, Young Child Wellness Experts, Young Child Wellness Partner, Project Director, and Local Evaluator manage the scope of the project and guide the development of project deliverables, including the Environmental Scan, Strategic Plan, Evaluation Plan, and Mid-Year and End-of-Year Progress Reports to SAMHSA.

PL State Young Child Wellness Council

Spark NH, the governor-appointed Early Childhood Advisory Council, serves as the state Young Child Wellness Council for Project LAUNCH NH.

This 23-member Council, which includes representatives from early childhood education, family support, and health, will infuse the goals of Project LAUNCH into the work of its 7 committees and 1 task force.

Spark NH’s mission is to provide leadership that promotes a comprehensive, coordinated, sustainable early childhood system that achieves positive outcomes for young children and families, investing in a solid future for the Granite State. The Council’s success depends on the work of the committees and task force of Spark NH.

PL Local Young Child Wellness Council

The Local Young Child Wellness Council engages leadership from local early childhood education and development, health, mental health, behavioral health, family support, and other social service agencies to work collaboratively on improving coordination of child-serving programs in Manchester.

The Council also monitors the impact of direct service components of the local project and informs state-level efforts to better serve young children and families.

PL Local Operations Leadership Team

The Local Operations Leadership Team is comprised of the supervisors of Project LAUNCH direct services staff from four local agencies who have contracted with the local project’s lead agency, Manchester Community Health Center.

The work of the leaders from the locally contracted agencies includes planning strategy implementation, problem-solving, managing budgets and contracts, overseeing data collection, monitoring quality, and ensuring operations are both efficient and effective. The Local Operations Leadership Team also serves as an Executive Committee to the Local Young Child Wellness Council.
